A combination of the PICOCABLE and the PICOTUBE enables a communication network of over several
thousands meters and also a simple communication network for a specific
application to be established. |
Wide Variety of Tubes and Fibers
Any type of materials and size(diameter and thickness) of the PICOCABLE
are available.
Types of Materials
Stainless Steel, Incoloy, Inconnel, Nickel, Copper, Titanium, Aluminium
Any types of and number of the cores of PICOCABLE are available.
Types of Fibers
GI,SM,DSF,MGF,PCF,HPCF,APF,Ribbon fibers.
Special applications are available upon your request. |
Easy Handling
Unskilled operators or installers can easily handle PICOCABLE just like electric wires. No need for Jel between the metallic tube and the optical fibers ensure easy handling and installation. |

Semiseamless Metallic Tube PICOTUBE |
Product Advantages Lightweight
an 8-core outdoor specification PE coated PICOCABLE of 75kg/Km(75g/m) ensures
easy handling, eliminating any stress to the laying place.
No transmission Loss
The PICOCABLE is free of a transmission loss in the temperature range from
-25c to +75c and can be securely installed in environments exposed to extreme
temperature changes. |

Side Pressure-Proof
The laid or installed optical fibers receive side pressure from any and all directions. The PICOCABLE is structured so as to withstand the side pressure. Special laboratory pressure tests of 1-ton load to the PICOCABLE using a metallic board of 50mm in width showed that no transmission loss was found in the PICOCABLE.
The PICOCABLE can be installed in the same rack and pit. |
|
Rodent-Proof
Mice, rats, woodpeckers or termites find traditional cable s very appetizing
and often chew and tunneled through them causing serious damages to communications.
The PICOCABLE is absolutely rodent-proof and protects the cores of optical
fibers.
The upper photo shows the PICOCABLE is rodent-proof; the lower photo is
not rodent-proof. Even if the outer coating of the
PICOCABLE is chewed, the metallic tube protects the cores of optical fibers. |
